I think it was Stephen King who said it; Sometimes They Come Back. Jason rising from the lake. The "one, two" song in the background at the end of Nightmare on Elm Street. That look Norman Bates gives you at the end of Psycho. The horror never ends. And enter Fergie. You remember Fergie, right? She's been gone for a few years but, boy, has she come back with an absolute solid TURD. Mrs C played this to me on her phone (from Youtube, she certainly didn't buy it) and I lasted about forty seconds before hearing about being "on fleek." Take a look. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsUWK-fixiAHey. Fergie's a ten. No doubt. All the women in it, I don't know their names except Kardashian, are hot as fuck. But are we really still doing this when it comes to pop music? When Adele, who I'm not a fan of, can break every record under the sun by releasing an album of actual, you know, fucking SONGS, are we still going down this desperate road? It SCREAMS "this is all I have to offer the world." Fucking tragic. I hope it bombs.

And that's the entirety of the pop music landscape in a nutshell. If they wouldn't be famous if they were average-looking, I don't have a fucking second for them. I turned off the volume after the first line and got bored with the visuals in half a minute. You're hot. Big fucking deal. I see hot women every day of my life. Truth be told, I'd rather bang Adele and Meghan Traynor. At least they've fucking earned it. I've got no more time for talentless pieces of shit with repetitive processed sloganeering garbage in place actual songs.

Yep, that pretty much covers it. Interesting to see that it flopped hard and failed to crack the top 40 in the UK, and didn't do much in the US by the looks of things. I just think we're surely past this sort of thing by now.

Good. Sexy is better than not sexy, but when it's all you have and your displays become so crass and excessive it stops being hot and starts being pathetic. Sic 'em, Amy.
