So the other day I happened upon a funny discussion on a MMA board about which musicians would make the best fighters. This turned into a weird argument between Glenn Danzig and Henry Rollins supporters where on poster kept insisting that Rollins was a "fake tough guy". Seeing as he's legendary for taunting the audience and then getting into fights during and after pretty much every Black Flag show, I found this an insane claim. A quick googling to see if there was any video evidence of this brought me to this interesting little gem of a listicle about singers beating up fans onstage. www.rollingstone.com/music/news/10-concert-fights-caught-on-tape-20130625I fucking love that Pitbull and Maynard beat peoples' asses between lines and didn't even miss a beat in the show. Maynard especially, judo throwing a dude and then continuing to sing perfectly while choking him out and getting hit in the head. How fucking badass do you have to be? Superhumanly so. That was like the scene in Drive Angry where Nick Cage is having a shootout while banging a chick to the Raveonettes.

This reminds me about that pretty awful, but admittedly entertaining fighting game "Def Jam Vendetta" that was out a few years ago. DMX I can buy kicking ass. But Ja Rule? Snoop Dogg?? Not so much.
I've no idea who the guy from Screaching Weasel is, but yeah. Fuck that guy from Screaching Weasel. The Axl Rose one is insane. A million dollars worth of damage is one thing, but to be immortalised in an album's liner notes with a "fuck you" is something else. Didn't Axl end up on Youtube fighting with a fan in an airport as well?
