I wish this was a joke post, but sadly it's all too real.
Someone tried to kill my cat. Straight up lifted him by the tail and threw him off a high surface. We're now trying to save him, feeding him through a tube and he's going to have to lose his tail.
We've got him back home, but we're needing to care for him 24/7 so this will be it for a few days.

The fuck is wrong with people? Were they reenacting scenes from Gummo? Did you piss off the mob or are there really people that awful in your neighborhood to do something like that? I hope your pet gets better, at least.

Thanks for the kind word, fellows.
No idea who did it, but the cat is slowly, (slowly) on the mend. We've had to feed him from a tube every couple of hours, inject him with methadone and antibiotics and we can't leave him alone in case he walks into something. Terrible. We've to take him down tomorrow because his tail is damaged and needs to be amputated.
No joke - this week has been one of the worst ever. But we're getting through it.
