If you don't want tpeople to ask about the massive legendary superhero you're writing, directing, and playing, don't write\direct\play him. As if film fans are supposed to only care about Ben Affleck and not about the properties they've loved for decades. This movie is a trainwreck right from the get-go with a shitty Hollywood star posing as a director who clearly doesn't give a crap about it. I don't even think I'll be renting it.  #notmybatman |

Ben Affleck is a card. He's turned in some of the worst acting performances in memory but has also directed/starred in some fucking badass films too (The Town, anyone?). It's pretty damn lame of him to whine about people constantly asking about Batman though. What do you expect? You knew this going in, surely. Dick.

Sorry I'm late to this thread, fellows. I've yet to see Batman vs Superman, I just can't fucking bring myself to watch it, and Affleck is an absolute tool if he gets pissy about people asking him about it. Surely the idea of being in massive box office blockbusters starring the most famous characters of all time is to then bring attention and funding to your smaller more independent movies? Isn't that the point?

As for Black Adam, literally the only reason they're making this movie is because Black Adam looks a bit like the Rock and the Rock has agreed to be in their movie and DC lost their fucking load in their pants and immediately greenlit a solo movie.
Dollars to donuts Black Adam turns into a good guy by the end of Shazaam. No way will they kill him off if the Rock is playing him.

As soon as I read that he, the director of the movie, hadn't bothered reading the script and was relying on what other people were telling him about it I knew there was no fucking way he was onboard for this. Now just recast his ass and maybe we can talk about making an actual Batman movie.
