What's that saying about the best intentions of mice and men?
So I had decided that every month I was going to make a thread about the crop of free games that come with the PS+ membership every month. And hey, I managed at least two months before.. well.. fuck, has anyone actually played these things?
I've tried to, I really have, and part of me hates myself for not giving them a fair try. But there's only so many indie-schmindie games you can play before you start to lose focus. The current trend is "try a game, sit through the tedious story of the whole thing, play it for five minutes and go onto the next one. There just isn't enough hours in the day for this shit.
There was a puzzle game I kinda liked. A retro platformer that looked OK. Some really fucking bad game where I couldn't even get the controls to get past naming my character, some point and click adventure thing and Little Big Planet 3, which STILL sucks.
Am I missing out on any gold here?

I don't think so. Platformers aren't my thing so I've never bothered with LBP as a series, although it certainly has its fans. Right now I'm up to my ears in my most anticipated game of the year, Mass Effect: Andromeda with the close number two, Persona 5, sitting on my shelf screaming my name. Yeah, the only two games coming out this year I can't live without and they came out right on top of each other. I play Mass Effect every waking minute and dream of playing Persona all night. I've literally never had this happen and I've been gaming all my life. In other words, I haven't had a chance to try out the current free crop.
