This much.
Sooooo, why not just go ahead and call it Star Wars Princesses? The art is nice (reminds me of the original non-CG Clone Wars cartoons), but the animation looks pretty suspect, even for a Youtube series. And there's just something so very Disney -and not in a good way- about a Star Wars show focusing exclusively on Padme, Sabine, Leia, Ahsoka, and Rey. Hard pass.

Ewww, fuck no. Why does Leia sound like she's fresh off the Glee TV show? And that cut and paste type animation just looks cheap as hell to me. It looks like the sort of thing you'd see in one of those cheap parody videos. Is this going to be canon? As for Star Wars, looks like we've (hopefully) been saved what could have been a horrendous attempt at a wacky Star Wars comedy with the solo, er, Han Solo movie. Dunno if you've read the news, but the two directors behind the movie have been canned in favour of Ron Howard (and that's no bad thing), because they were in danger of turning Han Solo "into Ace Ventura." www.nme.com/news/film/star-wars-directors-han-solo-ace-ventura-2095673Not saying the movie itself will be great, but it can only be an improvement.

That's got to be an exaggeration, but either way this looks bad. Did they not audition the guy they hired to play such an iconic character or, you know, TALK to the directors they hired? How far into shooting did they get before realizing the lead was channeling Jim Carrey? All of this smacks of gross incompetence and halfway into shooting the film, I'm not sure it'l be salvageable by anyone.
