Still, he's used reality TV to his advantage before, playing on American Idol when 3121 came out. He was supposed to play a few songs with the contenstants, talk to interviewers and stuff - you know, the usual drill that happens when they get actual, genuine stars on there. Except Prince turned up late, didn't talk to anyone, didn't sing with anyone and played three songs from 3121.

Hey, if you're going to go on the biggest show in America - THAT's how you do it.
