Ting Tings- not my cup of tea, but a cool catchy chorus. Terrible, terrible name. Also "The drums, the drums the drums, the drums, the drums....." kinda spoiled the vibe for me. Do they have an actual band?
DIOY,Y?- Again the European electronica thing doesn't do it for me (much better than American techno however), but the band name and video are definitely rockin'. Could be a killer live band; the bass guitar definitely sounds awesome.
MGMT- Sorry, but excessive synthesizers are like musical cryptonite to me. The song itself isn't bad at all and these guys are probably my favorite of this bunch. Totally psychadelic video too.
That style of music is just not something I'm exposed to so I can't really relate to it like I do funk, reggae, rap, rock, metal, and the stuff that has grown on me over the years. I didn't much care for "London Calling" the first time I heard it either.

Yeah, judging by some of your reviews I would imagine this sort of thing wouldn't be your bag, Trashy. I'm going to see the Ting Tings in a few weeks and we just saw MGMT last weekend, where I think I was in serious danger of losing my wife to the lead singer. We met them after the gig, and he's like this ridiculously good looking guy and I think if he had given her the OK, I would be a single man right now.............!
