Holy shit that is awesome.
You know what? I'm bowing to public pressure and I'm putting Spidey 3 in my Amazon reviews soon.
Vids like this can only help.

As bloated, sloppy, and poorly-conceived as Spider-Man 3 was, I don't think it's deserving of a 1-star rating. Sam Raimi really did make the most of the mess he was forced to work with. Honestly, for Spidey 3 to make it into your reviews before X-Men 3 even does would be downright criminal.
No opportunity to swipe at X3 is wasted by me! Pure, unadulterated horseshit, it is.

God bless you, Benjamin Haines! I have tears in my eyes from trying to contain my laughter. "I cut everything real good!" I actually prefered X3 to SM3. Just by a little. They are both fun movies that shit all the hell over their source material, dumbed themselves down for no good reason, and killed off underused characters with loads of potential for no good reason. Fuck off Hollywood! I can't wait for Marvel to get the rights back to those franchises and do them right.

See, it's difficult. I don't really want to give S3 a 1 star rating, because - seriously - is it that bad? That being said, I gave Superman Returns a 1 star rating and.. is that better than S3? Is it better than X3?
For me, it's all about the treatment of the villains. Sandman was awesome in S3 - AND he lived till the end. Its just a pity they had to throw Venom in there and ruin everything, if it had just been Sandman we wouldn't be having this conversation.
But they took Venom (and didn't even give him a NAME), and turned into him a 2 minute loser. Unforgiveable.
But in X-Men 3 they took Juggeranut (fucking Juggernaut!) and turned him into a walking joke. Vinnie Jones?!
So.. I'm still undecided. Hmmmm.

Sandman LOOKED awesome. But his character was lame as all hell adn boiled down to his daughter being sick. How that forces one to go on a murderous rampage rather than getting a job I'll never know.
And you gave Matrix Reloaded, Crouching Tiger, and LOTR 1 star each along with other films that can be considered a disappointment to some I'm sure, but hardly on par with true one-star crap like "Norbit" or "House of the Dead". Can you seriously say that Spidey 3 had ANYTHING on those films first few I mentioned? Hell, even "Doomsday" had that "try a piece of your friend" line.

Yeah I know, I know but.. Lord of the Rings actually filled me with anger. As did Matrix Relocation, Relocation or whatever the hell it was called, and Crouching Tiger bored the tits off of me (and that review was a looooong time ago).
Yeah, you are right though. For what they could have been, should have been and for what came before them - they really DO deserve to go in.
Prosecution can rest.

One last thing: if you would rather tear something else to shreds, do so. I'd rather have yoThe Curmudgeon soundly mock something I love than do a half-ass job trying to poke fun at something he kinda liked. Do as you will, but if it were me, I'd take Spidey 3 down hard.
