Wow. That is beautiful. It's got a real old school look about it, too. Although I imagine the uncensored posters will be a bitch to find.

Yeah, I'd never heard of it until now. I do like Rob Zombie, even though I've never actually seen any of his films. But he seems to have a genuine passion for the genre instead of some dick who used to do MTV videos. And his favourite ever monster is the Creature From The Black Lagoon. I remember he said once, "and you know someone is gonna try and re-make it and it'll be horrible and it won't be anyway as near as good as the original.."
How's that Halloween remake, Rob?

Not anyway as good as the original. I still enjoyed it a lot, though. Had a lot of great concepts. Still waiting on that director's cut for "House of 1000 Corpses" which was essentially a psychadelic remake of TCM with the common sense to not attach the name of a classic film to itself. "Devil's Rejects" was just fucking hardcore.

RE: House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects - are there uncut versions of these films available? It's always put me off getting them 'cos the versions have been trimmed.

Uncut Rejects: yes. Uncut Corpses: no. Zombie spent like 2 years cutting down Corpses before he could get an "R" rating for it so I know for a fact that the current edition isn't the "real" film. He even admitted in interviews prior to the orignal DVD release that he fully intended to do a director's cut. It just never happened. Every time I buy a film, a better edition comes out within a few months. Every time I wait; I wait and wait and wait..... Where are you "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair"? Being held the fuck up by Disney, actually. They won't release anything NC-17 and they are Miramax's parent company. BULLSHIT! I waited some 10 years for a decent version of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" and was forced to double-dip for "Blade Runner" months after breaking down and buying the ghetto edition.
