Got 20 minutes to kill? Then you could certainly do worse than treat yourself to this classic episode of The Twilight Zone, starring William Shatner.
Watching this episode, its quite sad to see how far TV standards have fallen. There's no way a TV show with this subtle pacing and quiet, refrained dialog would ever pass muster. Plus there'd be about 20 pop-ups telling you what's coming up next every two minutes.
Great acting, great script, great story. It also boasts possibly the worst monster in the world and definitely the worst stealing of a gun ever. But this is still 20 odd minutes of TV perfection right here.

Scared the holy hell out of me as a kid. I used to fly a lot and this did for planes what "Jaws" did for ocean swimming to me. Perfect. One of the best things that has EVER been on television.
Here's an Anthrax video you may dig. Those guys are so freakin cool. Always with the classic horror homages.
Oh, and Bub rules, C.

Yeah, I thought you'd approve of that, Trashy. What's not to love about Bub?
Excellent video (sucky ending, though). That's actually the first Anthrax song I think I've ever heard, and it was pretty damn good. So they do more horror homage's, do they?
Let's see 'em, Trashy.

Not my favorite song (the middle section is murderously rockin', though), but hey, ZOMBIES HO! Check the the end, too.
The band's homage to David Lynch's Twin Peaks. Incredible song.
FYI The "smoke reefer" graphic is not their's.
Love this one.
Metallica ripped the concept off a few years later. Barely even changed the name. Dicks.
Old-school Anthrax was full of Stephen King tributes and other geeky stuff. "I Am the Law" (Judge Dredd), "Among the Living" (The Stand), "Misery Lover Company" (Misery), and "Skeletons in the Closet" (Apt Pupil), and "Medusa" (Greek mythology) just off the top of my head. Other songs were inspired by people they admired like John Belushi (N.F.L.) and the man at Tienamen Suare who faced down a line of tanks by himself in that famous photo (One Man Stands), or people they despise like Hitler (The Enemy). Most metal bands stick with obvious dark imagery and simplistic aggression; Anthrax let it all hang out and really said something even if it was just "look, we're nerds!". That's what makes them one of my favorite bands.

Judge Dredd? Stephen King? Twilight Zone?
I think I may have just found my new favourite band.
