While the Dawn of the Dead remake was a surprise hit (both commercially and critically), I can't see the same thing happening for Day of the Dead.
For a start - Ving Rhames is in it, but he's a different character from the last film. OK, that's confusing already.
Secondly, it has nothing to do with the 1985 movie except the title (although the zombie at the end looks like their take on Bub). And "from the people who brought us Halloween H20 and Final Destination" (although I did like those films, to be honest) isn't exactly the same as "by George Romero", is it?
And it looks like the casually, and irritatingly acceptable, racist black guy is going to be the supposed break-out star, if his trailer screen time is anything to go by.
Not impressed at all.
Anyone seen this yet?

I've gotten the word from many who have seen it. The phrase "worst thing ever" seems to be thrown around a lot in regard to it. I watch zombie flicks by the boatload and I'm not bothering with it. Need to know more?
