Hell fucking yeah by the look of it. the premise is amazing. Basically you can switch between the red and black suits and make good or bad choices at different points of the game. Which suit or path you choose dictates your storyline and who allies with or opposes you. I'd have already pre-ordered this, but there are at least 5 must-own games coming out, like, right now and about 10 more I had to pass by but still want and I have enough money for exactly one full-priced game so Spidey will have to wait for now. Was that a symbiote Vulture? SWEEEET! Ohmagod, ohmagod, ohmagod, that giant symbiote looks SO cool! I'm going to die waiting for my next quarterly bonus. If I hear Deadpool is in this, I'm selling a kidney to get it. Best character ever.

Holy ..................... SHIT.
That game looks incredible. I can't believe the leaps and bounds they've made in these games over the last few years; not just in obvious graphic terms, but in the depth of character and attention to detail.
VenomVulture? Wolvenom? OK, I just made those names up, but God almighty that looks great. From your description too, Trashy, it sounds like you could play it a good few times before you get to see everything.
The Spidey games have always been great. The original 2 games on the PS1 are still great to play (and still look nice too), with some excellent hidden items to keep you playing. Spider-Man: Friend or Foe isn't a classic, but its still a hell of a lot of fun (and Doc Ock just wipes the floor with everyone in it).
But this looks to be something very special indeed. This and the new Smackdown game are my number one must haves now. Oh my.

Well, hey, Mrs Curmudgeon must read comments on this website because this AND Smackdown all appeared in The Curmudgeon's Christmas stocking.
I haven't played it much, but I'm not ashamed to admit the intro gave me goosebumps. This looks set to be easily the darkest, most serious Spider-Man title yet. There's no quips, and the game starts with NYC totally trashed by the symbiotes, and burned out ambulances and cars litter the city.
I'm already hooked.
