So it looks like the Guns N Roses album is finally, finally, FINALLY getting released - 17 years after their last album.

So, after seeing their horrendous "return" on some MTV awards like, 6 years ago, I'm calling it now - this will be a disaster. I was never a fan of the band, and Axl Rose looks like the biggest dick on earth, and no matter how many blogs claim leaked songs sound like "classic GnR" there's no way this will ever match the hype, or make back the money its cost to produce it.

Pessimism? Maybe. But seriously - how can this be anything other than awful?

I heard it on Rock Band 2 and couldn't believe Axl would pass that off as GNR. It's kind of cool, but it is the furthest thing from Guns 'n Fucking Roses. I smell a big fat

Based on what I've read on metal boards and music boards, everyone will buy it, many will be disappointed. The only leaked song I liked at all was Better (our radio station actually played it for a while, but I'm pretty sure someone got fired for that), but Trashy's right. Guns N' Roses it ain't.

Not that I really care. I was never much of a fan. All I want to hear from Chinese Democracy are the songs Sebastian Bach supposedly sings on.
