Well, you really do have a love for the Foo Fighters, Sucky. Were you a Nirvana fan? I was a Nirvana fan, I recently bought the MTV Unplugged on CD and I am playing it to death....... its rock and indie I like, but I grew up listening to Floyd, Led Zep, Deep Purple, Jepherson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac and the like, I was a 70's teenager, and it just kinda stuck with me...... its the guitars I think, I could watch Dave Grohl or David Gilmour play the guitar for hours on DVD.....its like it is an extension of their body, and Dave Grohl plays guitar like he plays the drums, with absolute passion...... oh feck i sound like a right sad old groupie, bollox to it, I love live music and I will scream myself stupid at Wembley in June when the Foo's come on stage, they put on such a show......

Nothing sad about liking good music, Suck. And by the way, musical snobbery, believe it or not, is frowned upon very much in the Fortress of Solitude. Nothing wrong with pop music if its GOOD pop music, and Take That happen to be very good indeed. I mean, how awesome is "Rule The World?" And I see, because I said I liked them, you were waiting on them being awful? Uh-huh. Well, glad you liked them, Geraldine is their new single but this is the song (voted #2 in NME's songs of the year) that got my attention.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfmClxKWhPY&feature=related

i like what I like, im not too worried if others do or not, it would be a poor show if we all liked the same, my CD and record collection is very eclectic, I have Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss mixed in with all my Rock and Indie - and i had heard of Alison Krauss long before she collaborated with Robert Plant - but what a great combo I thought when I heard they had got together to work, I saw them on Later with Jools last week....
I am really liking Glasvegas - thanks for the tip!!! are they doing the Festival circuit this year do you know, I will have to tell people to look out for them!

I know this is an old thread... but I don't think I ever got around to posting in it. This is the first album cover I thought of when I read the title.
