We're an odd bunch, aren't we?
I can pretty much guarantee that a few of the DVDs you own will be shockingly bad. And I can almost also guarantee you pretty much knew as much when you bought them.
When I decided to try and buy every comic book and superhero movie/TV show ever (an impossible task, I'm afraid to admit), I reasoned that I would have to watch, and pay for, some truly terrible films. But quite possibly the worst film (besides Batman and Robin, of course, which I also own) would be Steel. Worse than Supergirl. Worse than Superman IV. Quite possibly worse than cancer.

Then of course, there's my love of horror movies, and more specifically, zombie movies. Especially if they have anything to do with Romero, which this stinker pretends to have. Children of the Living Dead, a film so bad it actually beggars belief, especially when you take into consideration the fact Fortress legend Tom Savini has a starring role in it.
Why is it so bad? Well, besides the acting, directing and script (oh yeah, those things), the plot has a master zombie called Abbot Hayes (not trying to create a Jason Vorhees type character AT ALL) who stalks, hides, plots and laughs - and he's a zombie. Yup.

The trailer doesn't do the film any justice, really, because it makes the film look half decent. It doesn't even come close. Staggeringly awful.
Now, a monster movie with the word "Kong" in it can't be THAT bad, right? I mean, it might not match the 1933 movie, but it's got to have some merit, yes? Well, maybe if the word "King" comes before it. Because if the word "Queen" comes before it... ohhh dear.

Amazingly terrible, and it was actually blocked from general release by the makers of the 70's King Kong remake for fears it would damage their film. They obviously hadn't finished making the 70's version, because banning every film on the planet would still make it crap. But not as crap as Queen Kong, the highlight being the non more funky theme song ("she's the Queenie, for my weenie" - and no, I'm not making that up).
So I think those are easily the worst films I own, quite simply because I haven't got round to buying Star Wars: Episode One yet. Obvious notable mention must go, of course, to the US Godzilla film, but that's a no-brainer.
So - what're the worst DVDs YOU own?
