Gotta admit, I switched this review off halfway because I don't really know much about Taxi Driver and I wanted to avoid spoilers.

Taxi Driver is in my list of "Yes, I admit I haven't actually seen it" films, alongside Blade Runner, Godfather and the Deer Hunter. It's not that I don't WANT to watch it, I've just never gotten around to buying it. But that will change, especially if it comes in that bad-ass artwork.

Speaking of bad-ass - LOVE that t-shirt, Trashy.

There is a bit of a spoiler there, I suppose. I assumed everybody on earth had seen this. How many time have I told you to go but "Blade Runner" NOW! Buy it and TD; they both have totally sweet special editions out and are two of the finest and most influential films ever made.

Curmudgeon, I still haven't seen Blade Runner either, but I can attest that Taxi Driver is an absolute classic. If ever a movie warranted a blind buy, this is it.
