The Curmudgeon doesn't "jump the gun" often, but after seeing only one episode of this new British horror/comedy/drama I can safely say that EVERY member of this site needs to see this show. Yeah - only after one episode.
The plot, then; a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire all share a flat. Now, that premise had me rolling my eyes, expecting some goofy comedy with hilarious "walking through walls/jokes about fleas and a guy with a wonky accent" style laughs.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
It's brutal, it's bloody, it's written and directed by one guy obviously in love with horror, and the effects are also top class. The vampire (who doesn't hate crosses, garlic or, gasp, sunlight) tries to deny his urges, the werewolf is likewise and the ghost is desperatly alone.
Here's a few clips from the first episode. The werewolf has to change in the house after his usual place is demolished (they empty the place beforehand) and the girl ghost wants to watch.
You NEED to see this.

Heads up on ep2 - it's even better than the first episode. This show officially fucking RULES.
