Hey all. I'm currently taking a class called Storytelling for the Screen wherein everybody in the class writes, directs, shoots and edits three short films over the course of the semester. The first assignment is called Missing Keys, with the basic premise being just that someone loses their keys, leaving us with the freedom to get as creative as we want with it. This is my entry. Next up in the coming weeks: Blind Date.

Fantastic job. Masterful use of music, too. I couldn't stop cackling when that dude was zoning out on the kitty poster with that spacey music playing. Blind Date is practically screaming with possibilities. I expect greatness.

Ha, nice one. OK, I'll try and be all "serious reviewer" here.. take notes!
Likeable characters, good chemistry, if a little "Dude Where's My Car" esque.
Nice idea, simple premise that works and would get laughs (probably from a few "I'd do something like that" people). And the editing was first rate, man. There was no "click.. pause - action!" jolts that you normally see on this sort of thing, it was seamless from the start.
Minor criticism? The last line ("DO I?!") was said too quickly to sound genuine to me. I would have preferred a bit of a pause, then, "ohhh, DO I?" if that makes sense.
But, hey - all in all; great work, man. Bring on the next one!

The last line was actually an on-the-spot improvisation. In the script I just had him looking up and saying "Hell yeah", but looking through the different takes we did I really felt that the improvised line sold it the best with how over-the-top it was.
Thanks for the feedback. All criticism helps.
