Not to alienate anyone with this topic, but from what I've gathered on this site, 99% of the Dwellers are a) male and b) straight So I thought this very important question needed to be addressed. Now, we're not talking ability, we're not talking songwriting skills or anything like that. Let's be as shallow as pretty much the entire output of MTV nowadays. We're talking hotties. So, out of all the girls (in bands or solo, whatever), who do you think is the hottest? A few years ago, Britney Spears would have been my number one, no question at all. But, well.. she's a bit.. shop soiled now. Still would, of course, but she's not as hot as, ooooh, say..  Christina Milian, who, admittedly, hasn't been in the limelight recently. Unlike this super hot girl who is never off MTV..  She looks as dull and humourless as all hell, but maaaaan. And even though I'd like to hit her with a car, Avril Lavigne is smoking hot too...  Over in the UK, there's a girl band called Girls Aloud, where (oddly) every single one of them are awesome. But Cheryl Tweedy is just super, super fine.  OK, that's enough breathless banter from me. Anyone else care to share? |

Curmy, Rhianna is hot but loses out - just loses out - to the delightful Kate Jackson from The Long Blondes who is indie girl perfection.

Ah, if it's indie band hotties we're talking about, step forward the AWESOME Sharin Foo (who I met a couple of times after gigs.. well, I say "met", more like stood looking at her like a serial killer). Sorry I haven't stopped in for a few days, folks, but I've come down with the legendary Halo Flu. I watch NO eMpTV ever under any circumstances, but that Rhianna girl is shockingly gorgeous. But I'm bringing in the metal hotties since noone else is.  Angela Gossow. I walked past the woman in a crowd at Ozzfest once and damn near broke my neck BEFORE I even recognized her. She also has the most angelic siren's voice I've ever heard in person.  Simone Simons of Epica. I haven't even heard the band yet, but she guested on an excellent Kamelot DVD and I am in love. I really have a thing for redheads.  Otep Shamaya may go out of her way to appear unattractive, but I'm not fooled. The woman takes over a stage like nobody else and I find her sexy as hell. Too bad she plays for the other team, if you catch my drift. |

Here's a pic of a girl I'm sure you've never heard of, from a band I'm sure you've never heard of. Marianna from Surferosa  - we saw them supporting another band a few years back and thought they were awesome. We bought their album on import before it was released in the UK, and then they came back to the UK to do this little gig, and she saw my wife and I in the front row, the only ones who knew the entire setlist. So she walked over to me, took a drink from her bottle of water, grabbed my face and spat it into my mouth. Happy days! The girl from Lacuna Coil is awesome. And while we're talking about am-dram goth-pop, how could we not have a picture of the only reason Evenescence still have a record deal?  Yummmy. |

I actually bought that JJ72 album expecting a classic. Hmmm - that didn't happen. She was always smoking hot though. The Hussy's are unbearably crap. They sound like the sort of band your girlfriend is in at school and you have to sit through their sets pretending to like them. "I was working in a pet.rol. stat.ion." Oh just fuck off. Still - nice looking girl. I have no problem worshipping at the alter of Valance. You know, I never even saw her in Neighbours, the show she spent half of her screen time in a fucking SCHOOL UNIFORM. And I missed it! If we're talking girls in "indie" bands, I saw The Subways supporting.. uh.. another band (I forget who) and the girl is really quite hot, in a short-skirted girl next door way.  |
