I don't go on (that) much about my reviews on Amazon, but what the hell, a little bit of self-congratulation is to be allowed, surely. Now, I often get a lot of negative scores on my reviews, as the aim is to upset the fans of the worst things available, but damn, I really have outdone myself here.
My review of Britain's Got Talent's professional crybaby Andrew Johnston (and I can't even believe it got so many views, especially on an American site - how the hell do American's even know who he is?) album has received not only five pages of people pretty much calling me the devil, but an outstanding 1 out of 104 (so far) positive votes. 104 negatives? That's my personal best so far.
Annoyingly, Amazon have responded to the complaints and started deleting my replies to the posts. Which actually sucks - people call ME everything under the sun but delete MY comebacks? How is that fair?
Anyway, the review is in the section so if you want a quick laugh it's always good for that. But never underestimate the impact of insulting the mouth-breathers music of choice.

Amazon is stupid. If enough people say your post is unhelpful or abusive, it gets deleted. If they really go after you with the abusive bullshit then you can even get banned. I knew one very legitimate Amazon reviewer who got banned because he wrote a negative review of a book and the author sicced her people on him and they flamed him relentlessly and reported all of his reviews and posts as unhelpful and abusive and eventually got him banned from posting anything by the automated system. I'm surprised it hasn't happened to you.

Sssh! Don't jinx it!
At least I've saved all my reviews on here, though. So if the worst did happen I'd just repost the reviews (majorly tweaking some of the older ones that are just painful to read now).
You cannot kill what you did not create. Ahem.

I hate the helpful vote system on amazon. If I give something less than four stars I automatically receive unhelpful votes. Fucking fangirlz.

I usually get reemed for liking stuff or just because people don't like me personally. Seriously. I've had at least one troll who never, ever commented on the actual reviews, he would just berate me about retarded shit like how I only review for attention and not for "the passion" (?) or say I'm trying to monopolize the entire site. Somebody else (or very possibly the same guy using multiple accounts; the negative comments are always accompanied by several negative votes at once) took offense to the semi-tongue-in-cheek pretentious language that I used on my "Watchmen" review. Stupid shit.

How in the hell do you "monopolize" a website like Amazon? What a tool. So d'you think this Lunch website will take off? And would my negative fun and games go down well there?

The overbearing moderator of Lunch has met an untimely demise (sad, actually, he was a really nice guy) and I doubt that they'll be able to keep flame wars from breaking out now that the site is public. Apparently, reviews from the site have already been tapped by some really high-profile sites and it's only been open a week or so. I think it'll be huge because there is so much freedom there. And I have to say that the ratio of gorgeous and funny women on Lunch is spectacular. If I ever was to look for an internet honey, that's where I'd pick to do it. You can test the water wt some of your good stuff. If they don't like what you're doing they will politely let you know, but I doubt you will find the kind of idiots you like to needle just yet. I've found the population to be pretty intelligent and accepting, even when I hassle them a bit. Give it a year or two and you may well find an ideal paradise for what you do. They won't be able to moderate everybody once the site gets really big and the idiots always hop on the bandwagon.
