An interesting read - you know your stuff, my man. A Price boxset without House of Usher (one of my personal favourites) is odd, but what the hell, you can find that film pretty much anywhere. The one's here (Witchfinder excluded) are far rarer.
I thought Witchfinder was an absolute bummer of a movie, not in a bad way but man it was hard going. But yeah, you're right it still is tame compared to the real life horrors that happened back then.
I adore Vincent Price. Even now, people do the "scary voice" thing without really knowing who they're aping - he really has that big an impact on horror as we know it. My dad always said Price was a bad, or "ham" actor. I couldn't disagree more, and he fucking owned on Thriller.
Another excellent boxset Trashy. God damn, I'd love to have a flick through your DVD collection, man. Although I'd probably die of jealousy.

Vincent Price was a scary fucker. I will never forget him in The Fly.

Crap, this just reminded me that my Lunch reviews aren't up anymore since I left that site. I'll have to update these threads. Try the link again, Nella, if you'd like to see my actual review.
