It's interesting how the negativity about Susan's cd seems to be coming from Brits, and it seems to be directed at Susan more so than her cd. I have to wonder what it is about Susan's own people that has them so jealous of someone they should be very proud of that urges them to come to an American comment section to spout off on. Hey Brits --- you do have your own amazon to comment on dummies. Are you lost? You won't be hurting Susan Boyle here.
It's like they can't stand the fact that we picked HER! Well we did pick her, and we will continue to pick Susan no matter what they say, and the Brits are fools for not being proud of her. Not to mention that their irrational rants only make them look like complete idiots. Just add this latest jealous Brit to the list of those to ignore. Susan will be just fine here in the USA no matter how hard they try to knock her down. We'll pick her up anytime she needs a hand.

Mr. Curmudgeon. I enjoyed your review. I found it very entertaining and plan to read more of your work some time in the future. I do not agree with you at all. I feel Susan Boyle has an incredible voice and have been impatient for the release of this CD. I can tell you are irritated by her appearance, but I am grateful for it. If she had been a raving beauty, I'm sure most of us would never have even heard of her. What a great loss that would have been. To Dave P. Jones: Will you marry me? We could say that dastardly Curmudgeon brought us together!

Sneakers - why are you making her out to have special needs? You'll "pick her up anytime she needs a hand." I know she looks a bit like a mental patient at a Christmas party at the hospital, but she CAN walk, man. Oh, and have you ever tried to actually put a review on the UK version of Amazon? You'd have more success with a Boyle Playboy cover.

If I were to write a review along the lines of "SUsan BoYLE IS ugle LOL THIs is lame" then I would accept the term "troll." I give an honest perspective of the worst things on Amazon. I enjoyed your critique and found myself agreeing with it. You have a wicked sense of humour and your skewering of what made a singer like Susan Boyle famous is dead on. I was saying the same thing all summer - if she had not been a frumpy, midde-aged virgin whom everyone was ready to laugh at - then we would not be talking about her at all now. Good for her that she defied steroetyping but that does not make her an interesting artist. Good voice, boring material.
